Literally! Been looking for one of these for a while, I just can’t help to find them very cool. Got this one for less than 10 bucks on eBay, obviously it’s a little scratched, but, well, it’s a 20-year-old disposable watch.
As far as I can tell, they were made by Swatch to and went with the release of the original Twingo. It’s just as well that they were made by
Swatch,
because the battery needs changing and they will supposedly do it for free. Not getting my hopes too high for this though, who knows how a random Swatch shop will react when facing a weird old 20 years old advertising watch that doesn’t actually say Swatch anywhere on its body. We’ll see!

Very French indeed! The size of the 6 and 9 bothers me greatly.

That’s what makes it cool! That and all the different colors that were part of the Twingo’s options I think. Otherwise it would be an old boring plasticky thing!

Merci ! Looks better than I thought it would, to be honest!

Awesome! I’d never seen this one, but it looks very cool!
That reminds me, I have some Renault w atches too:
A Megane I rev-counter watch, very inaccurate for reading time, but besides that pretty cool. (picture not mine)
And a Renault Scenic watch (pic also not mine)
I don’t remember how I got the Megane watch, but I think the Scenic one was part of a promotion where you could also win an RX4, but we only won a watch and a Renault blanket.

That Megane one is funny! Although yeah it must be kind of confusing at first... Well it seems Renault were in a habit of making funky promotional watches haha!
